Custom Field Groups

Custom Field Groups improve recurring matches when websites use different labels for the same piece of information.

Create a Custom Field Group

  1. Open the extension popup. Click the Cat to open Options page.
  2. Go to Smart Match Settings, select Create Field Group.
  3. Enter a group name and add field terms that should be treated as equivalent, then save.

For example, a group could contain Company, Organization, and Business name when those exact labels represent the same information on the forms you use. Then MultiField Copycat understands they are the same field and can match the fields correctly.

Create a Custom Field Group for labels that mean the same thing.

Edit or remove a group

Go to Smart Match Settings, and select an existing group to update its name or terms, disable or remove it when you no longer need it.
