How do I copy multiple form fields at once?
Open the extension and click Copy with Dragbox under the Copy Tab, then drag over the fields you want to copy. MultiField CopyCat captures the recognized fields inside your selection altogether. You can then use Paste with Dragbox to paste the copied data into another form. Both actions can also be triggered with keyboard shortcuts.
Can I choose which form fields to copy?
Yes. Drag the selection box over the fields you want to copy. MultiField CopyCat captures recognized fields inside the selected area while leaving fields outside it untouched.
Can I copy fields that are outside the visible part of the page?
With the Pro plan's Auto-Scroll Dragbox, the page scrolls automatically as you drag beyond the visible area, letting you select fields farther down the page. The free version supports Dragbox selection within the visible area.
Can I paste multiple fields into another form?
Yes. Choose Paste with Dragbox and select the target fields. Sequential mode pastes form data in the copied order, while Smart Match tries to match copied values to similar fields even when the form layout or field order differs.
Will it work on every website?
MultiField CopyCat works on most websites that use standard form fields. Some special input types, such as file uploads, fields with IDs that change on page load, or heavily customized elements may not be supported. We recommend trying the free version before upgrading to Pro — or share your case with us! Your feedback helps us improve coverage and prioritize new features.
