Autofill on Page Load

Enable an Autofill Setting to automatically reuse saved values when a matching page loads.

Enable Autofill on page load

  1. Open MultiField CopyCat and go to the Autofill tab.
  2. Find the Autofill Setting you want and turn its Enabled switch on.
  3. Open or reload a page that matches the setting's URL pattern.

An Autofill Setting must have at least one URL pattern before it can be enabled. Once enabled, Autofill runs on page load when the current URL matches one of the setting's URL patterns.

Enable a saved setting and reuse it when a matching page loads.

URL patterns

Enter one URL pattern per line in Autofill Settings. A pattern can be a full URL or a stable part of one. This lets you use the same Autofill Setting across multiple matching URLs, such as production, staging, and local development environments.

For example, example.com/apply can match URLs containing that text. Avoid a broad pattern such as example.com if Autofill should run only on a specific area of the site.

Keep a setting manual-only

Leave Enabled off if you only want to apply the setting manually. You can still use Autofill This Page or click the Apply Autofill arrow button on a saved setting to trigger the form fill.

Slow-loading forms

Some forms appear after the initial page load. Pro users can use a Custom Autofill Delay. You can also wait for the form to appear and use Autofill This Page or Apply Autofill manually.
